These students get to experience an enhanced learning of their community, teamwork, character building, leadership and a greater sense of the outdoors. Gr 8's also have a chance to work towards their goal of making the Sunshine Coast Adventure. Gr 7's have Skills Camps. Gr 9's have Winter Survival Camp and Snow Caves

Participation in extracurricular activities is contingent upon attendance in school on the day of the event. This applies to all athletic teams, bands, ODL programs, and even spectating at after-school events. This is to support our students in balancing their interests and passions while fostering healthy habits that prioritize learning as their central focus.

Learning Commons

Chance for students to get all of their work done at school. Mastery allows student to access extra learning opportunities from teachers for whatever subject they may be working on. Students can spread out large projects and have access to technology and printing.

Jazz Band

Friday mornings 8:00 - 9:00 am in the band room

The Jazz Band is an extracurricular ensemble that rehearses once a week outside of the timetable. It is open to experiences musicians enrolled in grade 8 and 9 band and performs at the Vincent Massey winter and spring concerts, the Alberta International Band Festival and the Ernest Manning Big Band Gala as well as other opportunities. Students may choose to play on their main instrument or an alternate instrument. It is a full year commitment and students are expected to come to all rehearsals.

When the weather gets bad and you want a place to eat indoors-the shop will be open. The cost to enter is cleaning the shop the last half of your lunch break. This will be a very loosely scheduled club-Mr. Hall will post days occasionally

Do you love soccer? Do you eat, sleep and dream the beautiful game? Join our soccer club Tuesday's at lunch. When the weather is nice we will have a casual kick around in the back field and when the weather is poor we will be in Room 17 to watch highlights from the pros!
