A Student Services Learning Leader is available to work with students to assist with educational, career, and personal issues. Support is available in the following areas.

Educational Counselling

  • Selection of courses
  • Program planning
  • Achievement in present program
  • High school information and course selection

Career Counselling

  • Exploring values, interests and abilities
  • Establishing career goals
  • Exploring job opportunities 
  • Plans for further education or training

Personal Issues and Referral Services

  • Referrals to outside agencies such as counselors, psychologists and community organizations

Our students’ success is our top priority and we understand that our students live complex lives and that many factors both in school and outside of school can affect their ability to learn. The CBE offers a variety of services (such as Culture and Linguistic Support, Exceptional and Special Needs, and Psychological Services) to support students, their families and our school, so students can be successful learners.
