Dear Vincent Massey families,

Thank you to all of the parents and guardians who attended our School Council meeting last Wednesday – not only to the key individuals who run our council and parent association so well, but also to the new faces and helpers with various special projects.  I shared a number of updates on our planning and priorities for next year, but I particularly enjoyed highlighting the many, many activities that are taking place in all domains of student learning and well-being.  This pace continues in the coming weeks, as you'll see in the calendar reminders below.

Thank you to those grade 9 families who have sent in baby/young pictures of their students. Mr. Morawski has received close to 200 emails in addition to the many physical copies. He will only reply to the emails if there is an issue with downloading the picture, so please rest assured that they have been received!

Our Spring Band concert will be held on May 15 after school. It is absolutely FREE for everyone to attend. You will hear music from How to Train your Dragon, Pirates of the Caribbean, James Bond, Shrek 2 and more!

The community-organized celebration party has been set for Saturday, June 21 at the Westgate Community Centre. Tickets will be available at the school for students to purchase on May 26-28.
